Thank You for Your Support
Thanks to generous attendees like you, Passions 2025 raised over $200,000 for our vital Food and Nutrition Program.
Your support allows Dr. Peter Centre to continue providing nourishing meals to the 2% of the population sidelined by society, and facing complex social and health issues. The presence and generosity of all involved—from sponsors to chefs, bars, donors, attendees and event staff—helped transform lives this year, providing hope and belonging to those who have had doors closed to them elsewhere.

About Passions
The history of Passions dates back to 2002, to a small charity cooking class at Barbara-Jo's Books to Cooks. In 2004, the event was moved to the Dr. Peter Centre and titled Passions. Organized by Vancouver food media personality Nathan Fong, the inaugural event featured nine chefs, and 100 attendees and raised $7,000. 21 years on, this most recent Passions featured 26 restaurants and bars, 92 silent and live auction items, and 227 attendees. Since its inception, this annual culinary fundraising gala has raised over $3 million.
We owe special thanks to our tireless committee for this year's event: Amelie Thuy Nguyen, Trudy Tran, Carmen Hou, Juno Kim, Diana Claxton, Ryna Olonan, Rachel Taylor, and Stephen Clarke
