Lynn joined the Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation in July 2014. She comes to the position after 24 years with BCBiomedical Laboratories (now Lifelabs), including the last eight years as a supervisor, then a Patient Services Training Coordinator.
Her passion for employee engagement was a particular focus in her Training Coordinator position where she was responsible for hiring and training up to 100 new employees and students a year in a company proud to be recognized as a “Great Place to Work” in the annual Globe and Mail survey.
Lynn has a personal connection to the Dr. Peter history – she worked at a Vancouver clinic in the mid-late ‘80s where Dr. Peter Jepson-Young was doing a locum. Through her work at the clinic, she witnessed the sad loss of life of many men dying of AIDS in that era.
Her educational background includes BCIT Management Certificate Human Resources, BCIT Management Certificate Business Management with Distinction, BCIT Associate Certificate Leadership with Distinction and Bachelor of Arts: Leadership with Great Distinction, TWU.
