Creative Collaborations
Tuesday mornings at the Dr. Peter Centre are a time for imagination and artistic expression.
As part of a unique new course called Ethics & Representation, art students from Emily Carr University of Art and Design (ECUAD) and participants at the Dr. Peter Centre are meeting to draw upon each other’s passions and talents. Through the course, the students and participants accompany each other on a creative journey – offering the opportunity for each to learn from the other.
Projects inspired by the connections include T-shirts to use in the Centre’s gym, customized cribbage boards, tattoo drawings and artistic responses to their life experiences.
The course is taught by Sabine Silberberg, a Counsellor and Expressive Arts Therapist at the Centre, and Susan Stewart, Dean of the Faculty of Culture and Community at ECUAD.
