Life at the Dr. Peter Centre: Connections on the Computer

Mark* has a passion to learn. He received his education in business from a college, but he taught himself to use computers and navigate the internet. When he comes to the Dr. Peter Centre as a participant in the day health program, he makes use of a lot of the services offered, including working out in the gym three times a week. But the first stop he makes is at the computer station in the living room on the second floor. more»

This spring you’re invited to be part of the glamour and romance of 40’s aviation as L’Amour, a fashion event to benefit the Dr. Peter Centre, takes off! L’Amour is a nostalgic glance backward to a lost era of white-gloved stewardesses, glimmering propeller planes and champagne flights—combined with fashion’s forward-looking contemporary edge.

This spectacular 2nd Annual event—part swank cocktail lounge, part high energy fashion show—will be taking flight from the Roundhouse Community Centre, and is a joint effort of the volunteers and supporters of the Dr. Peter Centre and experienced professionals from all aspects of the fashion industry.
