Debbie is a participant in the Day Health program and a resident of the Enhanced Supportive Housing program.
She turned IV drugs while coping with grief over the death of her two-year-old daughter and describes her life before the Dr. Peter Center as a “roller coaster.”
Debbie came to the Dr. Peter Centre after she learned that she had HIV. She is now building a stable life and re-connecting with her family.
Her story is a strong testament to the important sense of community and home that the Centre and its programs offer to participants.
