Tracy Schonfeld and Donald Hayes, long-time
supporters of Dr. Peter Centre, celebrate the successful auction bid purchase of
gift certificates to the 12 restaurants participating in the Passions event.
Bidding was brisk between Tracy and Donald with the final bid going to Tracey.
Donald very generously met Tracy’s $4,000 bid as an additional gift to the Dr.
Peter Centre.
A Succulent Success: Passions Fundraising Event
Dr. Peter Centre celebrated our 1st Anniversary in the new
building with the launch of a signature
fundraising event, Passions: Celebrating People and Passions, on September 19.
The event celebrated the passion of Dr. Peter Jepson-Young, founder of the
Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation and visionary of Comfort Care for people living with
HIV/AIDS. The event brought together 200 Dr. Peter Centre supporters and
friends for an evening of exquisite food from 12 of Vancouver’ top restaurants,
and inaugural wines of Lotusland Vineyards. This successful event raised over
$10,000 for the Dr. Peter Centre.
